Sanathana Dharmam ( Sanatana Dharma )

What is Sanathana Dharma?

Sanathana Dharm is not any rule which is written on some books. But this is the message of Saints in India who found this from their introspection. This should be experienced by every human being. So, the next question is How do we experience this?

For experiencing Sanathana Dharma you have to go for a journey. From where we came, there we have to go. First you have to forget about all the miseries and happiness of your physical body and then come with me.

Close your eyes. Now the first question arises in your mind is that From where did I came to this world?
Mind will give the answer "you came from your Mother's womb". Now I can feel the pain that I suffered in the womb and the eagerness to come outside.

Fine. Now think From where did I came to mother's womb? How did I reached there? This time mind gave the answer that "you where in the form of liquid in your Father's body". So you were in the form of sperm and it came to your mother's womb. Every day you were growing in mother's womb till she delivers you.

We are continuing the journey. Ask again How did you came to father's body? This journey is Interesting right? Lets check it out.

"You came from the food that he have taken" and it converted into the form of blood and sperm. So, before that I lived in that food. Let us assume that father had taken a Mango, and from that you came to blood. This tells that you lived in the Mango tree.

Now the question is How the Mango was formed in the Mango Tree? Now the answer will lead you to the "pancha bhoota" (land, water, fire, sky, air). The tree sucked the minerals from the earth, and using oxygen, sunlight etc. (Photosynthesis) It formed the mango. This tells that you lived in all Pancha bhoota.

(If you have taken the example that your father had chicken as food, then you lived in chickens blood and before that you were lived as worm until the hen took it as its food. So before getting this Human life you may lived on so many species and eternally after death you will get dissolve in "Pancha Bhoot")

So ultimately you are asking Why are you doing so much cruelty and sin with your sacred life?. Love each and every soul in the world.

The species or places that we see now are thyself in the previous birth. That's why the saint prays to river, mountains and each and every soul.

There is no separation in the world. everything is me. ultimately we will go back to Pancha bhoota. Then why are you doing all these.?

Here is no Cast or religion. Even there is no differentiation in human race. The rights of human on earth is same as that an Ant is having. For our material life and happiness why do we want to destroy everything?

(Malayalam Version for Sanathana Dharmam)

RUMORS ON NEW LAW IPC 233 AGAINST RAPE IN INDIA

Rumors on IPC-233

From actual Act IPC 233
Whoever makes or mends, or performs any part of the process of making or mending, or buys, sells or disposes of, any die or instrument, for the purpose of being used, or knowing or having reason to believe that it is intended to be used, for the purpose of counterfeiting coin, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extended to three years, and shall also be liable to fine.

But Rumor is like this "BREAKING NEWS: Finally a new law passed. Indian Penal Code 233 If a girl is suspected to be raped, or getting raped, then she has the supreme right to kill the man, injure his sexual part or harm that person as dangerously, that girl wont be blamed for murder."

This has been started appearing on social networking sites or as messages. The law is under consideration and not yet passed. It will be discussed in the parliament at the next session (most likely in the end of Jan'2013)

Just to acquaint everyone about it:

Laws are passed by the central government after it gets an approval from the state governments. Now, is it going to really approved by all the states?? The reason being there are so many MPs (Member of Parliaments) who have rape charges against them. Are they going to allow the law to get approved. If the law is approved, are these MPs will be punished according to the new law.

Have our government fooled the public by just giving the news on new law consideration? is it going to stretch its approval for years and years? will Indian public forget after couple of months about this new law, and wait for another "Damini" to face something similar and again protest.... What about the 6 people who acted worst than animals in the Delhi gang rape case? They are yet to be hanged?? They deserve to be killed brutally and they are still alive...   What about the Govt. officials and politicians who also have rape charges against them??

I believe, there are three categories of men who does rape.

First category may be having some kind of nerve problem. (probably we can say that they do have a mental issue) May be the circumstances he grown up made him like that. He will never think whether the victim is 5 year old or 50 year old.

Second Category can be having political/money power. These people will think that money/political power can save him from any case/crisis.

Third category do this basically because of some filthy friends and under control of alcohol. Such group of friends may be having some thought like "If we are together, we can do anything". Under the control of alcohol they do such things without any forecast.

In most of the cases, the main villain will be Alcohol. In normal condition they do think about after impacts. We cannot say that due to the lack of sex workers they are doing rape. In Delhi, you can easily get a sex worker as compared to the availability in Kerala. Still in both place girl is not at all safe.

You can't make a law simply to hang the victim. There are possibilities like The woman who have some revenge on a person can easily make use of the law for destroying her enemy. So the law should be scientific and there shouldn't be such type of loop holes.

Is Curd better than Milk ?

Is Yogurt Better Than Milk?

Both yogurt and milk are dairy products made from cow's milk. You can find several varieties of milk and yogurt that differ in the fat percentage, sugar content and added vitamins. Yogurt tends to contain more sugar and calories than milk, making milk a better choice for you, especially if you are trying to lose or maintain your weight.

Calories

The calorie content of milk and yogurt depends on the amount of sugar, protein and fat the products have. A cup of nonfat milk contains 82 calories, 8 g of protein and 12 g of sugar. While a cup of nonfat fruit yogurt contains over 230 calories, 11 g of protein and 47 g of sugar. Because yogurt contains more calories and considerably more sugar, milk is better for you when it comes to the nutritional content.

Vitamins

Yogurt and milk are good sources of vitamin B-12 and riboflavin or vitamin B-2. A cup of nonfat milk or nonfat fruit yogurt contains little over 1 mcg of vitamin-B12 and 0.4 mg of riboflavin. The recommended daily intake of these vitamins for adults are 2.4 mcg and around 1.3 mg. Both yogurt and milk contain over 45 and 30 percent of your daily requirement of these vitamins.

Minerals

Yogurt contains more calcium than milk. A cup of nonfat fruit yogurt has 370 mg, while a cup of nonfat milk has only 300 mg. These correspond to 37 and 30 percent of your daily need. Yogurt also contains slightly more of phosphorus, magnesium and potassium. All of these are important minerals your body needs every day. Thus yogurt is a better source of minerals.

10 Reasons Yogurt is a Top Health Food

 1. Yogurt is easier to digest than milk. Many people who cannot tolerate milk, either because of a protein allergy or lactose intolerance, can enjoy yogurt. The culturing process makes yogurt more digestible than milk.
2. Yogurt contributes to colon health. There's a medical truism that states: "You're only as healthy as your colon." When eating yogurt, you care for your colon in two ways. First, yogurt contains lactobacteria, intestines-friendly bacterial cultures that foster a healthy colon, and even lower the risk of colon cancer. Secondly, yogurt is a rich source of calcium - a mineral that contributes to colon health and decreases the risk of colon cancer. Calcium discourages excess growth of the cells lining the colon
3. Yogurt improves the bioavailability of other nutrients. Culturing of yogurt increases the absorption of calcium and B-vitamins. The lactic acid in the yogurt aids in the digestion of the milk calcium, making it easier to absorb.
4. Yogurt can boost immunity. Researchers who studied 68 people who ate two cups of live-culture yogurt daily for three months found that these persons produced higher levels of immunity boosting interferon.
5. Yogurt aids healing after intestinal infections. Some viral and allergic gastrointestinal disorders injure the lining of the intestines, especially the cells that produce lactase.
6. Yogurt can decrease yeast infections. Research has shown that eating eight ounces of yogurt that contains live and active cultures daily reduces the amount of yeast colonies in the vagina and decreases the incidence of vaginal yeast infections.
7. Yogurt is a rich source of calcium. An 8-ounce serving of most yogurts provides 450 mg. of calcium, one-half of a child's RDA and 30 to 40 percent of the adult RDA for calcium. Because the live-active cultures in yogurt increase the absorption of calcium, an 8-ounce serving of yogurt gets more calcium into the body than the same volume of milk can.
8. Yogurt is an excellent source of protein. Plain yogurt contains around ten to fourteen grams of protein per eight ounces, which amounts to twenty percent of the daily protein requirement for most persons.
9. Yogurt can lower cholesterol. There are a few studies that have shown that yogurt can reduce the blood cholesterol. This may be because the live cultures in yogurt can assimilate the cholesterol or because yogurt binds bile acids, (which has also been shown to lower cholesterol), or both.
10. Yogurt is a "grow food." Two nutritional properties of yogurt may help children with intestinal absorption problems grow: the easier digestibility of the proteins and the fact that the lactic acid in yogurt increases the absorption of minerals.

Perhaps we can take a health tip about yogurt cultures from cultures who consume a lot of yogurt, such as the Bulgarians who are noted for their longer lifespan and remain in good health well into old age.

Drinking Too Much Water Can Be Harmful

Why Drinking Too Much Water Can Be Harmful To Your Health?

If you force large amounts of water into your system over a short period of time, your kidneys will struggle to eliminate enough water from your system to keep the overall amount at a safe level.
As your circulatory system becomes diluted with excess water, the concentration of electrolytes in your blood will drop relative to the concentration of electrolytes in your cells. In an effort to maintain an equal balance of electrolytes between your blood and your cells, water will seep into your cells from your blood, causing your cells to swell.
If this swelling occurs in your brain, you'll experience increased intracranial pressure i.e. your brain will get squeezed because the flat bones that make up your skull don't provide much give. Depending on how much water your drink in a short period of time, you could experience a wide variety of symptoms, ranging from a mild headache to impaired breathing. As occurred in the tragic water-drinking contest, it's quite possible to die if you drink enough water in a short period of time.
This information is particularly important for parents to pass on to their children. Foolish drinking contests are not uncommon among high school and university students, especially while playing cards.

See the link below. I have taken the main points, and shown above.

The Lytro camera ( Focus later )

The Lytro camera

The Lytro camera lets you create living pictures that you can endlessly refocus after you take them. Share your pictures online, and your friends can instantly refocus them just like you do.

Lytro, Inc. is a light field camera startup company founded in 2006 by Ren Ng, a light-field photography researcher at Stanford University. Lytro's products are targeted to consumer use, while the first company to enter the market of plenoptic cameras, German company Raytrix, has targeted its products to industrial and scientific applications of light-field photography.

Lytro produces its own cameras rather than licensing its technology with an established manufacturer. In 2011, Lytro demonstrated capability to produce a camera that allows users to change the focus of a picture after the picture is taken. According to TechCrunch, plenoptic cameras such as Lytro's are "a new type of camera that dramatically changes photography for the first time since the 1800s."
The company's first camera went on sale October 19, 2011 in 8 GB (US$399) and 16 GB ($499) versions, and began shipping on February 29, 2012.
In February 2012, the company won the Silicon Valley / San Jose Business Journal’s Idea and Innovation Award in the consumer technology category.

The Fifth Generation of Wi-Fi

IEEE 802.11ac

The extraordinary growth in the number and type of WiFi devices, coupled with the increasing popularity of bandwidth intensive activities such as high definition video streaming, has created the demand for better performance with greater reach. 802.11ac, the next generation WiFi standard is designed to meet these needs.

Wireless LAN sites will see significant improvements in the number of clients supported by an access point (AP), a better experience for each client, and more available bandwidth for a higher number of parallel video streams. Even when the network is not fully loaded, users see a benefit: their file downloads and email sync happen at low-lag gigabit speeds. Also, device battery life is extended, since the device's Wi-Fi interface can wake up, exchange data with its AP, then revert to dozing that much more quickly.
802.11ac achieves its raw speed increase by pushing on three different dimensions:
• More channel bonding, increased from the maximum of 40 MHz in 802.11n, and now up to 80 or even 160 MHz (for 117% or 333% speed-ups, respectively)
• Denser modulation, now using 256 quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM), up from 802.11n's 64QAM (for a 33% speed burst at shorter, yet still usable, ranges)
• More multiple input, multiple output (MIMO). Whereas 802.11n stopped at four spatial streams, 802.11ac goes all the way to eight (for another 100% speed-up).
The design constraints and economics that kept 802.11n products at one, two, or three spatial streams haven't changed much for 802.11ac, so we can expect the same kind of product availability, with first-wave 802.11ac products built around 80 MHz and delivering up to 433 Mbps (low end), 867 Mbps (midtier), or 1300 Mbps (high end) at the physical layer. Second-generation products promise still more channel bonding and spatial streams, with plausible product configurations operating at up to 3.47 Gbps.

802.11ac is a 5 GHz-only technology, so dual-band APs and clients will continue to use 802.11n at 2.4 GHz. However, 802.11ac clients operate in the less crowded 5 GHz band.

How winter weather impacts your health

How winter weather impacts your health

Cold weather brings along a range of problems for our body, from blood pressure to appetite, affecting also our mood. Here is the cost of winter.
The skin is the barrier between the body's internal organs and the environment. In cold weather it redirects the blood flow from the skin surface and the internal organs therefore preventing heat loss. One of the body's ways of staying warm is shivering, the involuntary trembling caused by rapid contraction and relaxation of muscles. But it is also a way to exercise without lifting a finger! In winter the heart works harder, often leading to higher blood pressure. This is particularly dangerous for the elderly vulnerable as they face heart attacks and strokes. Because the skin redirects the blood flow internally, blood vessels constrict and the concentrated blood flow can cause blood clots, which are dangerous were the arteries are restricted.
According to American researches, we eat about 200 extra calories a day in winter, so we generally gain weight in winter, but we must not blame ourselves for being greedy. In fact we naturally react to the cold by consuming extra calories. Our metabolism is speeded up in winter because the thyroid gland increases its thyroxine output in winter, so that the body can burn more calories.
Not only we eat more but we need to nap more in winter, it's a natural way to conserve energy in the winter months (animals hibernate and our ancestors were not that busy at the time). Despite evolution so our genes are still programmed for a winter break, hence the need for more sleep. To prevent sleeping we should eat carbohydrates. As days get longer and brighter our the sleeping patterns change and we no longer feel the need for a nap.
The long winter months take their toll on our immune system, that's why we get colds and related infection more easily. Our whole body works hard in winter and it reacts to the cold as it reacts to stress and this affects our mood too. Winter short days and long nights quite often leave us feeling out of sorts; this is due to lack of melatonin, a hormone triggered by sunlight and it affects our daily body rhythms. Bright lights can help for the brain reacts by it by producing more melatoxin and our spirit will be lifted.

The winter also affects our urge to use the bathroom too:
“The reason is that in order to minimise heat loss during cold exposure the body restricts the flow of blood to the skin and superficial tissues. This is called peripheral vasoconstriction. The result is that blood is shunted to the body core, the volume of blood circulating in the core is higher, and mean arterial blood pressure is higher.
“Blood volume, and hence blood pressure, are regulated by the kidney, which either reabsorbs or sheds water from the body according to how well hydrated we are.
“So when you are exposed to the cold and your blood pressure rises, the kidney interprets this as due to an excess circulating volume, and sets about losing salt and water in order bring down the blood volume and hence blood pressure. As a result you produce more urine.”

Please SLEEP early....

The liver is the largest single gland in the body. It is located on the right side of the abdomen under the diaphragm which divides the chest from the abdomen. Liver performs a number of important functions in the body. when the liver is healthy it works very smoothly.

Causes of Liver Damage
Most of the foods we eat are stored in the liver, after having been digested and absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. The liver has another very important function, that of detoxifying or destroying many harmful poisons and even certain medicines that are taken into the body for other purposes. When the liver is sick, these functions are impaired and soon the whole body suffers. Not only does the liver store the food materials, it also produces bile, a golden yellowish liquid that is needed for the absorption of fat from the intestine. Another important substance produced in the liver is cholesterol, part of which passes into the bile. It may even from stones in the bile ducts and gall bladder under certain conditions.

The main causes of liver damages are:

1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are the main cause.
2. Not urinating in the morning
3. Too much eating
4. Skipping breakfast
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweetener.
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil.
8. Consuming overly done foods also add to the burden of liver.
9. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, DO NOT STORE.

Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to "liver functioning schedule"

Liver Functioning Schedule

Night at 9 - 11 PM : is the time for eliminating unnecessary toxic chemicals (de-toxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time one is still in an un-relaxed state such as socializing, drinking, eating out, this will have a negative impact on health.
Night at 11 PM - 1 AM : is the de toxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in deep sleep state.
Early morning 1- 3 AM : de-toxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 3 - 5 AM : de-toxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough sufferers during this time. since the de toxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.
Morning 5-7 AM: de-toxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.
Morning 7-9 AM: absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast before 7.30 AM is very beneficial to those who wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9-10am rather than no meal at all.

Fake Currency in Kerala

An alleged aide of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, Mannuparambil Abdul Majeed, 53, reported to be behind the circulation of Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) from Gulf countries to Kerala, was detained in Dubai recently. Officials said a team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) is going to Dubai on December 4 to bring him to India.
Sources said Majeed was detained in Dubai based on a red corner notice issued by Interpol on NIA’s request. He is alleged to be linked to the seizure of fake notes with a face value of Rs 72.5 lakh in 2008. The notes were seized from one Muhammad Alshad of Thrissur, who had just returned from the UAE.
In 2011, the NIA took over the case after officials suspected terror links. According to NIA, Majeed, originally from Malappuram, has been living in Dubai for the last few years. “From the interrogation of suspects, we linked the circulation of FICN in Kerala to Majeed. He has also been facilitating money to terror groups trying to make inroads into Kerala,” said a top NIA official. The fake notes are reported to have originated from Quetta in Pakistan.
